  • Open Data Iron Chef
    • This is a practical exercise that allows participants to conceive their very own Open Data application.
    • Participants are introduced Open Government & Open Data and are then asked to form team and get to work developing an idea for an Open Data powered application.
    • Participants then conceptualize a design, brainstorm features, and create a rudimentary business case for the application.
    • The exercise concludes with each team presenting their idea in a “pitch” type of format.
    • Upon request, a full blown “Dragon’s Den” event can be arranged for an audience.
